Welcome to our website . "Angel" was my foundation brindle bitch, totally adorable and spoilt rotten. She was definitely a part of our family. I wanted to get the right dog for our life style and researched many different dog breeds.
A friend recommended a French Bull Dog. At that time I had never seen one. But as soon as I saw them, I knew that was the dog for me. They are beautiful all amazingly entertaining and lovable.
My mentor Pat Power who unfortunately died 25/5/2018, was one of the first to introduce French Bulldogs to South Australia. MJOSA was her prefix.. I miss her dearly as her advise and direction re breeding etc was so valuable. Pat loved the De La Parure and Nikomis blood lines.

About the French Bulldog:
The most common belief is that they originated from miniature or toy English Bulldogs, bought to France from England during the industrial revolution in the 1860's. There is some who believe that they may have been in Peru 1100-1400AD as found by studies into mummified dogs. There is also a possible link with the pug.
On 1880's the French Bulldog became a real success and by 1887 the first register of the breed in its own name was developed.
They first appeared in America in 1896 and became known as the "frenchies". They are one of the few breed which owes its existence to the efforts of breeders in different countries: France, America, England and Germany.
